Municipal Heat Planning in the MKK

Municipal Heat Planning in the MKK

Municipal heat planning in Germany is a strategic process. The approach: Cities and municipalities develop long-term plans with the aim of making their heat supply more sustainable, efficient, and climate-friendly. The declared goal is to reduce energy consumption, decrease the use of fossil fuels, and promote the transition to renewable energies such as solar thermal, geothermal, or waste heat.

Because the heat transition is a necessity for us, Gründau has joined forces with another 17 municipalities in the Main-Kinzig district as an initiative to pool our know-how and our (wo)manpower. What we want is to be your first point of contact – and to inform you about the heat supply of the future and all its possibilities.

Accordingly, on this website you will find all essential, up-to-date information on the laws and regulations of your MKK municipality, as well as on municipal energy planning itself.

We are very happy to be able to be there for you in this way and in this time of change!
