Apply for information on the status of the residential property promotion account

To find out the current status of your home ownership savings account, you can apply for a determination of it.

Your residential promotion account records the pension provision home ownership amount, the repayment installments, and the allowances granted for this purpose. The residential promotion account forms the basis for the subsequent taxation at the beginning of the payout phase of your pension provision contract. 

If you would like to be informed about the current status of your home ownership savings account, you can apply for a determination of this account. The Central Office for Private Retirement Provision (ZfA) will issue a notice from which you can see the balance of your home ownership savings account.
 

• You can submit an informal application to determine the home-ownership funding account through your provider.
• Your provider will forward your application, along with the certificate pursuant to Section 92 of the Income Tax Act (EStG) and an informal statement, to the Central Office for Pension Arrangements (ZfA).
• The Central Office for Pension Savings notifies you of the determined status of the homeownership funding account by official notice.
