• Commit to volunteering with the Federal Agency for Technical Relief

  If you would like to support the Federal Agency for Technical Relief (THW) on an honorary basis through your voluntary participation, you can apply for admission to the THW.

• Apply to take an amateur radio exam

  You can apply to take the amateur radio exam with the Federal Network Agency.

• Apply for the issuance of an amateur radio examination certificate or an amateur radio operator's certificate

  With a passed amateur radio examination, you can apply for an amateur radio examination certificate or an amateur radio license.

• Apply for the recognition of a foreign amateur radio examination certificate or amateur radio authorization

  You want to obtain an amateur radio license in Germany and already hold a foreign amateur radio license or amateur radio examination certificate? Then you can have it recognized by the Federal Network Agency under certain conditions.

• Apply for amateur radio licensing

  You can apply for your authorization to participate in the amateur radio service at the Federal Network Agency.

• Apply for the assignment or extension of the assignment period of a call sign for a remote-controlled or automatically operated amateur radio station

  If you are authorized to participate in the amateur radio service, under certain conditions you can be assigned an additional call sign for a remote-controlled or automatically operating amateur radio station.

• Apply for the assignment or extension of the assignment period of a club station call sign

  If you are authorized to participate in the amateur radio service, under certain conditions you can be assigned an additional call sign for the operation of an amateur radio station as a club station.

• Declare surrender of amateur radio license or call sign assignments

  You can declare your waiver of your license to participate in the amateur radio service or one of your call sign assignments to the Federal Network Agency.

• Report a change in your personal data to the amateur radio administration

  As a radio amateur with an assigned German amateur radio call sign, you must always and immediately notify the Federal Network Agency of any changes to your personal data.

• Report newly established amateur radio stations or the permanent relocation of your amateur radio stations

  If you, as a radio amateur with an assigned amateur radio call sign, set up your fixed amateur radio stations anew or relocate them permanently, you must notify the Federal Network Agency.
