Applicable regulations

On streets and parking lots as well as in multi-level parking garages, parking spaces marked with a wheelchair symbol are reserved for people with disabilities. Do not park in parking spaces that are marked with a name, a license plate number, or a parking permit number; these are reserved for other people with disabilities.

Parking on streets

  • You can park in no-parking zones for up to three hours. You must indicate your arrival time using a parking disc.
  • You may exceed the permitted time on streets or in parking zones with a time-limited parking permit.
  • You may park for free and for an unlimited time in parking lots or on streets where fees are payable via parking meters or pay-and-display machines and parking time is limited.
  • You are allowed to park in resident parking zones for up to three hours.
  • Unless you obstruct traffic flow, you may park outside the markings or in traffic-calmed zones.
  • Only park in pedestrian zones if this is expressly permitted there. During the specified times, you may park in pedestrian zones for loading and unloading – inform yourself on site.

Note: These special regulations only apply if no other parking facilities are indicated nearby. You may not park for longer than 24 hours.

Parking in parking lots

Parking regulations may vary. Please observe the parking signs or ask a parking attendant.
