Quick info

If you wish to apply for accreditation as an expert for the federal program on energy efficiency in agriculture and horticulture, you can do so through the Federal Agency for Agriculture and Food (BLE).

Description

The federal program for increasing energy efficiency and CO2 savings in agriculture and horticulture subsidizes measures to improve energy efficiency and reduce CO2 emissions in agriculture and horticulture. As part of this funding program, you can apply for approval as an expert with the Federal Office for Agriculture and Food (BLE).

With the approval of the BLE, you can advise agricultural and horticultural businesses in Germany on energy efficiency and the reduction of CO2 emissions. Above all, you will support them in matters relating to stationary and mobile energy use (heating fuels and motor fuels) and develop CO2 saving concepts for these companies.

To be approved as an expert person, you must meet certain requirements and demonstrate qualifications. These primarily include knowledge of:

  • Energy efficiency and

The BLE publishes the list of approved experts online.

Approval as an expert person is valid for a maximum of 2 years and must be applied for again thereafter.
