If you catch eels for commercial purposes, you must document every fishing day.

You can submit the annual report using the online service or send your records to the authority by mail.

In your annual report, you state the fishing area, the catch weight of the eels, the percentage of silver eels, as well as the type, number, and operating time of the fishing gear used.

Procedure

If you wish to submit the annual report online:

  • You do not need to register or create an account.
  • You fill in the mandatory fields of the online service.
  • You will receive a confirmation email at the email address you provided.

If you prefer to submit the annual report by mail:

  • You summarize your catch days using the template and check your information for completeness.
  • You then send this to the upper fisheries authority.
  • You are required to keep the documents for up to five years.
  • The upper fisheries authority will receive and review your records.
  • If necessary, questions will be clarified with you directly.
  • The annual report is then entered into the fishing register by the authority.
