Apply for a statutory retirement pension from the Agricultural Old-Age Pension Fund

You will receive the standard old-age pension upon application if you meet certain requirements.

Die normale Altersrente können Sie beantragen, wenn Sie Ihre sogenannte Regelaltersgrenze erreicht haben. Das Eintrittsalter für die normale Altersrente wird seit 2012 stufenweise von 65 auf 67 Jahre angehoben. Die Regelaltersgrenze von 67 Jahren gilt erst ab Geburtsjahrgang 1964.

Für die Rente müssen Sie zudem eine Mindestversicherungszeit (Wartezeit) von 15 Jahre erfüllen. Neben der Versicherungszeit bei der Landwirtschaftlichen Alterskasse können auch Zeiten aus anderen Versorgungen, zum Beispiel der Deutschen Rentenversicherung, angerechnet werden.
 

Die Regelaltersrente können Sie schriftlich, persönlich oder online beantragen:
Written application:

• Laden Sie das Antrags- und Anlageformular zur Regelaltersrente auf der Internetseite der Sozialversicherung für Landwirtschaft, Forsten und Gartenbau (SVLFG) herunter. Füllen Sie diese vollständig aus und stellen Sie die benötigten Unterlagen zusammen.
• You can send your completed and signed application along with the required documents by mail to your agricultural pension fund.
• Your agricultural old-age pension fund is reviewing your application. You will receive a written decision by mail or in your electronic mailbox at the SVLFG.

Note: A person you trust can also submit your pension application for you. Please submit a corresponding power of attorney to your agricultural pension fund for this purpose. As long as the power of attorney is valid, your agricultural pension fund will communicate exclusively with your authorized representative. 

Personal application during the consultation:

• Gather the required documents for the application and make an appointment with the Agricultural Old-Age Relief Fund (Landwirtschaftliche Alterskasse) or an advisory office of the SVLFG.
• Your pension application will be recorded during your interview.
• Your agricultural old-age pension fund is reviewing your application. You will receive a written decision by mail or in your electronic mailbox at the SVLFG.

 Application via online procedure:

• Go to the SVLFG online portal and log in there.
• Fill out the form and upload the necessary documents. Then submit your pension application online. You will receive the application as a PDF in your online mailbox.
• Your agricultural old-age pension fund is reviewing your application. You will receive a written decision in your electronic mailbox at the SVLFG.
   

• Beantragung der Rente: bis zum Ende des 3.  Kalendermonats nach Ablauf des Monats, in dem Sie die Anspruchsvoraussetzungen erfüllen.
• Benefit of the pension: from the calendar month at the beginning of which you fulfill the eligibility requirements for the pension.

Note: If you apply for the pension later, it will be paid from the calendar month in which you applied for the pension.
 

Gegen den Regelaltersrentenbescheid kann innerhalb eines Monats (im Ausland 3 Monate) nach seiner Bekanntgabe Widerspruch eingelegt werden. Sollte der Widerspruch nicht erfolgreich sein, besteht die Möglichkeit einer Klage vor dem Sozialgericht.
