Agricultural accident insurance: Apply for a clearance certificate for companies

If your company is affiliated with a statutory accident insurance institution and you have paid the contributions to the statutory accident insurance, you can prove this with a certificate of good standing.

Clients and subcontractors may request a certificate of good standing from you.

With a certificate of good standing, you prove,

• that the persons who work in your company are insured against occupational accidents and commuting accidents by the Social Insurance for Agriculture, Forestry and Horticulture (SVLFG),
• that your company has paid the contributions to the statutory accident insurance.

If required, the SVLFG will issue a qualified certificate of good standing for you. This certificate additionally contains

• the assessed parts of the company,
• Information on the amount of reported earnings per year,
• the total sum of contributions and advances.

If there are still outstanding claims from the SVLFG against your company, the certificate of good standing will only be issued after receipt of payment.

You can request the simple and certified clearance certificate online, by phone, in writing, or in person from the Social Insurance for Agriculture, Forestry and Horticulture (SVLFG).

If you want to apply for the clearance certificate online:

• You already have a personal account on the "Meine SVLFG" portal:
  • Visit the SVLFG insured persons portal and log in with your personal credentials.
  • Request the clearance certificate directly in your insured account.
  • Upon receipt of your application, the SVLFG will check whether the requirements for issuing a certificate of good standing are met.
  • You will receive the certificate of clearance by mail or online via the portal.
• You do not have a personal account on the "Meine SVLFG" portal:
  • Visit the SVLFG insured persons' portal and log in as a guest.
  • Request the clearance certificate.
  • Upon receipt of your application, the SVLFG will check whether the requirements for issuing a certificate of good standing are met.
  • You will receive the certificate of clearance by mail.

If you want to apply for the clearance certificate by phone:

• Call one of the following offices:
  • a regional location, a branch office, or the nationwide hotline of the Social Insurance for Agriculture, Forestry and Horticulture or
  • the statutory accident insurance hotline.
• Please provide all necessary information about your company.
• Please request the issuance of a certificate of good standing.
• Upon receipt of your application, the SVLFG will check whether the requirements for issuing a certificate of good standing are met.
• You will receive the certificate of clearance by mail or online via the portal.

If you want to apply for the clearance certificate by post or email:

• Write a letter or an email to a regional office or a branch of the Social Insurance for Agriculture, Forestry and Horticulture.
• Please provide all necessary information about your company.
• Please request the issuance of a certificate of good standing.
• Upon receipt of your application, the SVLFG will check whether the requirements for issuing a certificate of good standing are met.
• You will receive the certificate of clearance by mail or online via the portal.

If you want to apply for the clearance certificate in person:

• Visit a regional office or branch of the Social Insurance for Agriculture, Forestry and Horticulture.
• Please provide all necessary information about your company.
• Apply for the certificate there in person.
• Upon receipt of your application, the SVLFG will check whether the requirements for issuing a certificate of good standing are met.
• You will receive the clearance certificate in person, by mail, or online via the portal.
