Provide data on construction work on utility networks for the infrastructure atlas

As the owner or operator of a public utility network, submit information on planned or ongoing construction work via the Infrastructure Atlas portal (ISA portal), thereby fulfilling any information obligations you may have.

The Infrastructure Atlas (ISA), as part of the Gigabit Registry, is a central information and planning tool for broadband deployment in Germany. It provides an overview for the initial planning stages of broadband expansion projects and serves to prepare specific co-use claims in the advanced planning process.

The ISA contains the infrastructure data of several thousand network operators and makes it available to authorized companies, as well as the federal government, federal states, districts, and municipalities as part of broadband deployment. The geospatial data, such as the routes of fiber-optic cables, are displayed on digital maps in the ISA.

The ISA also displays information on planned or ongoing construction work on public utility networks.

As the owner or operator of a public utility network, submit information regarding planned or ongoing construction work via the ISA portal, thereby fulfilling any legal information obligations you may have. Regardless of this, voluntary data submission for relevant construction work is welcome at any time.

Once you have submitted your relevant construction work to the ISA, you can refer applicants to the ISA in the event of a specific request for the coordination of construction work. In addition, you contribute to accelerating the nationwide rollout of fiber optics and reducing the costs of deploying high-speed networks.

• Edit your geospatial data in accordance with the construction work data delivery instructions for the Infrastructure Atlas. A current version of the instructions is available for download in the ISA portal. 
• Submit the processed data via the ISA portal. To do this, proceed as follows:
  • Access the ISA portal and register as a data supplier for construction work, provided you do not yet have a user access account for the portal. 
  • Fill out the online data delivery form, upload your geospatial data, and submit it electronically. You can also submit changes to already transmitted data or early deletions via the online form.
  • You can check the processing status of your data delivery at any time in the ISA portal.
  • As soon as processing is complete, your data will be displayed in the infrastructure atlas.
