Apply for grants from the "Environmental Protection and Safety" funding program for road freight transport companies

With the "Environmental Protection and Safety" funding program, eligible companies in the road freight transport sector can receive grants for measures in the areas of safety and environmental protection.

If your company operates in the field of road freight transport, you can apply for grants for the following categories from the "Environmental Protection and Safety" funding program, formerly „De-minimis“:

• Procurement of equipment and facilities,
• other environmental protection and safety measures,
• Consulting on environmental and safety-related corporate management issues.

You submit your application online to the Federal Office for Logistics and Mobility (BALM).

• Open the funding program "Environmental Protection and Safety" (formerly De-minimis) in the BALM application portal.
• First, save the forms there blank to your computer.
  • Note: You can only open the forms with the current version of Adobe Acrobat Reader.
• Fill out the forms according to the specifications.
• Register in the application portal and then log in there.
• Print out the control form, sign it, and then scan it as an attachment.
• Then upload the application documents.
• The BALM will review your application and subsequently send you a notice of grant or a rejection notice.

For funding, the measures must be carried out after approval of the application by official notice and no later than five months after receipt of the grant notification, but no later than December 31 of the year in which you received the grant notification.

There are no costs.
