Submit an interim or final financial statement / proof of use for a funded project within a development partnership with the private sector

As a company or organization, did you receive funding as part of development partnerships with the private sector? If so, the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development requires an interim and verifications report from you.

Development partnerships with the private sector (DPP) are short- to medium-term joint projects between companies and so-called implementing organizations. They pursue a development policy benefit.

If you, as a company or organization, implement an EPW and receive funding for it from the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), you must submit interim and final reports during the funding period.

If you have not fulfilled the purpose of the grant by the end of the fiscal year, you must submit an interim report on the amounts received in that year within 4 months after the end of the fiscal year.

You can submit the interim or final use of funds statement online or by mail.

If you want to submit the proof online: 

• Go to the federal portal and fill out the online application. The system will guide you step by step through the required information and necessary documents. 
• Upload the required documents as a file or provide them as a download link and submit the application.
• In case of any ambiguities or missing information, the BMZ will contact you. 
• The BMZ will initiate a corresponding payment or recovery.

If you want to submit the proof by mail: 

• Please send the proofs by mail to the BMZ – to speed up processing, you are also welcome to send us the proofs additionally by email.

• The BMZ will initiate a corresponding payment or recovery.

You must submit the interim proofs of use to the BMZ by April 30 of the following year and the (final) proofs of use no later than 6 months after the end of the project.

There are no costs.

You cannot file any legal remedies.
