Public contracting authorities are obliged to make the execution of a procurement procedure publicly known, provided this is legally required. The purpose of the notice is to enable the largest possible number of companies active in the relevant field to become aware of upcoming procedures and to participate in them.

If you want to find out about a procurement procedure or participate in one, please refer to the contract notice. You can view contract notices on internet portals, official gazettes and, in individual cases, also in trade or daily newspapers.

In addition, contracting authorities are required to publish their tenders online in the Public Procurement Data Service. To view the tenders there, proceed as follows:

• Call the data service.
• Use the search and filter functions to research contract notices.
• In the respective detailed information, you will find a link to the procurement platform of the issuing contracting authority, where you can submit your questions and requested documents.

The deadlines for participating in procurement procedures and the submission deadlines vary depending on the public procurement framework. Specific information on deadlines can be found in the respective contract notices.
