• Product information centers

  Pursuant to Regulation (EU) 764/2008, replaced by Regulation (EU) 2019/515, product contact points have been established throughout the EU for products for which there are no harmonized rules yet. 

• Product Contact Points for Construction Products

  Based on the Construction Products Regulation (Regulation (EU) No 305/2011), product contact points for construction have been established in all EU countries. This helps companies and citizens quickly understand which rules apply in the locations where they wish to sell construction products.

• Intellectual property rights

  Here you will find information on your rights and obligations regarding business formation, management, and closure, in particular regarding the registration of patents, utility models, trademarks, and designs.

• Obtained CE certification

  The CE mark is an indication that a product has been tested by the manufacturer and that it meets all EU-wide requirements for safety, health protection, and environmental protection.

  Before you can sell a product in an EU country, it must comply with the regulations that apply in that country and throughout the EU.

• View summaries of Risk Management Plans (RMPs) for authorized medicinal products

  On the federal and state drug information portal, you can view summaries of risk management plans as a supplement to summary of product characteristics and package leaflets.

• Notify short-term mobility for research purposes

  If you hold a residence title for research purposes from a Member State of the European Union (EU), you can enter Germany and conduct research there for a certain period of time.
