Product Contact Points for Construction Products

Based on the Construction Products Regulation (Regulation (EU) No 305/2011), product contact points for construction have been established in all EU countries. This helps companies and citizens quickly understand which rules apply in the locations where they wish to sell construction products.

At the Product Information Point for Construction, you can obtain information regarding the use of construction products in Germany as well as the relevant technical rules for the planning, design, and execution of structures.

Here you can also find information on the principle of mutual recognition and the application of Regulation (EU) 2019/515 in Germany. You will find links to the contact details of the independent testing laboratories and certification bodies designated by the European Commission: so-called notified bodies for the assessment and verification of constancy of performance of construction products (AVCP).

In addition, we provide information on how the applicable EU harmonization legislation regarding construction products is implemented and enforced in Germany (Regulation (EU) 2019/1020).
