Display of fireworks

Gültigkeitsgebiet: Hessen

Online erledigen

Quick info

The setting off of fireworks must be notified by permit holders. Anyone who does not have a permit, on the other hand, requires an exemption permit to set off fireworks outside of New Year's Eve.

Description

Before igniting fireworks, the holder of the permit must notify the competent authority of the fireworks display. This applies year-round to fireworks with pyrotechnic items, particularly categories F2, F3, and F4.

If you, as the license holder, wish to set off fireworks, this must be reported to the local regulatory authority two weeks in advance. If there are railway facilities, airports, or federal waterways in the immediate vicinity, the notification must be made 4 weeks before the fireworks.

Procedure

  • You must make a notification and submit all necessary documents.
  • The documents will then be reviewed by the competent authority.
  • Following an initial review, the competent regional authority will receive a copy of the report.
  • If there are any questions or ambiguities, the authority will contact you and, if necessary, invite you to a personal interview.
  • You will receive an ad confirmation and a cost assessment
