Aviation event: Permit

If you want to host an aviation event, you need a permit for it.

Aviation events, which are public events featuring competitions or exhibitions involving aircraft, require a permit.

Note:
You do not need a permit for aviation events in which only unmanned aerial systems and non-motorized air sports equipment participate within the scope of an already granted ascent permit, which are not subject to the mandatory traffic registration, and which do not carry any passengers.

Submit the application in writing or online along with the required documents to the competent regional council.

Submit your application in duplicate at least 8 weeks before the start of the event.
