Report a change in your personal data to the amateur radio administration

As a radio amateur with an assigned German amateur radio call sign, you must always and immediately notify the Federal Network Agency of any changes to your personal data.

If the Federal Network Agency (BNetzA) has authorized you to participate in the amateur radio service and assigned you a personal call sign, you must notify the BNetzA immediately via an online form or informally by email or mail if your personal data recorded in the authorization changes. This concerns, for example, changes of name, a change of residence, or a change of nationality.

Additionally, by submitting a notification of change, you can object to the publication of your address and the location of your fixed amateur radio station in the call sign list and the call sign query.

You can submit the notification for changing your personal data online or informally by mail or e-mail to the Federal Network Agency (BNetzA).

Show changes online:

• Go to the online application on the federal portal verwaltung.bund.de. It will guide you step by step through the required information. Complete the application entirely online.
• Upload any required proof if necessary.
• Submit your application online.
• The BNetzA will review and process your application.
• You will receive a confirmation and a request for payment.
• You will transfer the fee.

Notify changes by mail or email:

• Send your notification informally and with any necessary supporting documents by email or post to the BNetzA.
• The BNetzA will review and process your application.
• You will receive a confirmation and a request for payment.
• You will transfer the fee.

You must report any change of your name or address immediately.
