Report changes in the agricultural, forestry, or horticultural business or in independent work in agriculture, forestry, or horticulture

Has anything changed at your agricultural business? You must report this to the Social Insurance for Agriculture, Forestry and Horticulture.

You must inform the Social Insurance for Agriculture, Forestry and Horticulture (SVLFG) if your company or self-employed activity changes in these aspects:

• Nature and subject matter (including expansion or discontinuation of parts of the business)
• Ownership structure or legal form
• management conditions

Changes of this kind can affect the compulsory entrepreneurial insurance in the agricultural trade association.
The reporting obligation to the SVLFG applies to companies and activities in these sectors:

• Agricultural and forestry enterprises including
  • of horticulture and viticulture,
  • fish farming,
  • of pond management,
  • lake, stream, and river fishing (inland fishing),
  • beekeeping as well as
  • landscape conservation serving the goals of nature and environmental protection
• Agricultural and forestry contracting services
• Livestock farming companies without floor management
• Landscaping and garden maintenance companies
• Hunting company
• Private lawn and garden care companies

You can report a change informally by mail, email, telephone, fax, or via the service portal of the Social Insurance for Agriculture, Forestry and Horticulture:

• Notify the SVLFG of any changes that are occurring or have already occurred in your company or in your independent agricultural, forestry, or horticultural activity.
• Inform the SVLFG of the type of change and when it occurred.
  • Attach the appropriate required documents if applicable.
• Should there be any further questions regarding the change, the SVLFG will contact you or your company after the notification.
• You will receive a notification from the SVLFG after processing.

If you want to register online:

• Go to the SVLFG service portal. You can find the change form in the media center of the service portal.
• Fill out the change form completely and submit it via the service portal.

If you wish to register in writing:

• Download the amendment form from the SVLFG website and print it out.
• Send the completed change form by mail, email, or fax to the SVLFG.

There are no costs for you for the report.
